Dark-mode hero backgrounds, art-themed or museum contexts, ambient loops needing a calm color-shift effect.

When not to

Light-background layouts (background hardcoded dark navy). Contexts where subtle motion is insufficient.

Working with an AI agent

Change warm colors to gold and coral by setting RGB.orange=[230,160,60] and RGB.green=[210,100,80], then widen the light band with bw=W*0.45. Theme: dark tokens live in :root, the light variant in :root[data-theme="light"]; ?theme=light or a {type:'forever:theme'} postMessage switches at runtime.
